The Light Factory Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film is proud to offer a new series of after school educational programs for high school students. The Light Factory’s after school programs offer high school students the opportunity to learn about photography and/or filmmaking as form of self expression, storytelling, or even a future career. Students will have the opportunity to gain technical, practical, and creative skills by working with professionals in the fields of photography and filmmaking. These programs are designed to nurture the growth and creativity of high school level photographers and filmmakers. Each program will meet one time per week for 2.5-3 hours at The Light Factory’s uptown location in Spirit Square. Students who cannot commit to the semester long programs, may be interested in our workshop style, weekend offerings for teens.
