Who are the other Photography and Film museums?
The Light Factory is one of only four museums in the entire United States that promotes the power of image through both photography and film.
While there are many photography centers and independent film groups across the country, The Light Factory is celebrates emerging artists in both mediums as well as those who create art with other light-generated media.

Pittsburgh Filmmakers is one of the largest and oldest independent media arts centers in the country. Founded in 1971 to provide media-making tools to artists, Pittsburgh Filmmakers serves everyone from emerging artists to established artists to fellow non-profit organizations and students. The operate the Three Rivers Film Festival, the region's largest annual film event.

Museum of Photographic Arts (San Diego, CA)
