INTRO TO DIGITAL SLR PHOTOGRAPHY

Costs: $325/members, $365/non-members 

Class Description:

In this in-depth eight week course, students learn the basics of their camera and photography. Students will master aperture/shutter speed exposure, metering, electronic flash, and white balance for color corrections/creative effects. In addition, students are introduced to basic compositional principles that will push your images to the next level. This class is hands-on and includes in-class critiques and extended shooting assignments in downtown Charlotte and elsewhere. You should bring a 35mm digital single lens reflex (SLR) camera (with manual controls), the manual for the camera and we’ll supply the rest! Class size is limited to 12 students.
