The Light Factory is proud to be partners of the following film festivals and independent film groups:

RIVER RUN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
www.riverrunfilm.com

The RiverRun International Film Festival is one of the premier film festivals in the Southeastern United States. Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, home of the nation's first arts council, the festival showcases a rich blend of works by independent, international and student filmmakers.

The festival was created as a forum to encourage filmmakers and provide them with suitable venues for their work. RiverRun is dedicated to exhibiting the work of talented filmmakers from around the world and to the exhibition of new, independent, and foreign-language dramatic and documentary feature-length and short films. In addition to premiering new films, RiverRun also invites to Winston-Salem critically acclaimed works featured at the Sundance, Berlin, Toronto and Cannes film festivals.

An official activity of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, RiverRun serves as a living laboratory for the more than 200 students attending the undergraduate program at the School of Filmmaking.

FULL FRAME FILM FESTIVAL
www.fullframefest.org

The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is an annual international event dedicated to the theatrical exhibition of non-fiction cinema. Each spring Full Frame welcomes filmmakers and film lovers from around the world to historic downtown Durham, North Carolina for a four-day, morning to midnight array of over 100 films as well as discussions, panels, and southern hospitality. Set within a single city block, the intimate festival landscape fosters community and conversation between filmmakers, film professionals and the general public.

CHARLOTTE JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL
www.charlottejewishfilm.com

The mission of the Charlotte Jewish Film Festival is to illuminate global Jewish experiences through film.  What’s really remarkable about the CJFF is that it is a volunteer–led festival. The individuals and organizations who create the festival do so out of a love for Jewish film and a desire to view them with the greater community.

NODA Film Festival
www.nodafilmfest.org

The NoDa Film Festival’s mission is to foster community by presenting high-quality cinema that is largely unavailable elsewhere. We aim to highlight great movies from throughout international film history and draw from multiple genres including documentary, foreign, vintage Hollywood, independent, experimental, and silent films. We hope to show that these films can be just as fun and relevant as the ones playing at the local multiplex. NoDa Film Festival strives to keep admission free so that everyone can afford to enjoy the rich and exciting history of cinema.

REEL SOUL

Reel Soul Cinema led by founder Dennis Darrell and director Sagg Torrence is managed by filmmakers of color throughout the Southeast.  Reel Soul is the region’s premier film and networking series celebrating African-American filmmakers.
